About NuSpark Publishing

NuSpark Publishing creates visually engaging nonfiction books for curious readers of all ages.

Our books explore the surprising stories behind history, science, technology, inventions, culture, and the everyday objects people often take for granted. Each title is designed to make complex subjects easier to understand through clear writing, carefully selected visuals, helpful captions, historical context, and memorable discoveries.

We believe learning should be informative without feeling like homework. That is why our books combine accessible storytelling with an image-rich format inspired by the best visual reference books and illustrated nonfiction.

NuSpark Publishing is built around a simple idea: curiosity should never have an age limit.

Whether the subject is a familiar invention, an important historical event, a scientific breakthrough, or an object found in nearly every home, our goal is to uncover the details, connections, and unexpected stories that make readers stop and say, “Wow! I didn’t know that! Who knew?”

Our publishing approach emphasizes:

  • Clear, approachable nonfiction writing
  • Strong visual storytelling
  • Carefully researched historical context
  • Useful captions and explanations
  • Books that adults, teenagers, families, and educators can enjoy
  • Responsible use of historical, public-domain, licensed, and original imagery

Each book is developed to be browsed casually, read from beginning to end, shared with others, and returned to whenever curiosity strikes.

About Paul Mosenson

Paul Mosenson is an author, educator, media strategist, and the founder of NuSpark Publishing.

For more than 30 years, Paul has worked in marketing, communications, media, and audience engagement. His career has centered on understanding how people absorb information, what captures their attention, and how complicated ideas can be presented clearly and memorably.

That same philosophy guides his work as an author.

Growing up, Paul was always curious. He asked questions, wanted to understand how things worked, and enjoyed discovering the stories behind familiar people, places, inventions, and ideas. That lifelong habit of learning continues to shape the books he creates today.

Paul has also worked as a substitute teacher, where he has seen firsthand that people learn best when information is understandable, visual, relevant, and interesting. He brings that same practical perspective to every NuSpark Publishing project.

His books are created for readers who enjoy learning but may not want to read a dense textbook or traditional academic history. They combine concise explanations, visual examples, historical details, and unexpected facts that encourage readers to keep asking questions.

Paul lives in the Philadelphia area and continues to develop books about history, science, culture, inventions, technology, and the surprising stories behind everyday life.

His goal is straightforward: create books that help people remain curious, continue learning, and discover something they did not know before.
