Kindle

Amazon offers a free service called Send to Kindle that lets you add an EPUB or PDF file to the Kindle library connected to your Amazon account.

Barnes & Noble allows EPUB and PDF files to be added directly to many NOOK devices by connecting the NOOK to a computer with a USB cable. This is called sideloading
